Helping retirees and near-retirees make smarter financial decisions with confidence
Retirement is about much more than managing investments. It's about creating reliable income, minimizing taxes, and making confident decisions about the future you've worked so hard to build.
At Overture Wealth Management, I help individuals and couples approaching retirement or already retired navigate the complex financial decisions that come with this next stage of life.
After more than 20 years in the financial services industry, including 14 years at Vanguard, I founded Overture to provide a different kind of advisory experience—one built around objective advice, transparent pricing, and long-term relationships. I chose a flat-fee approach because I believe it is a fair and transparent way to compensate an advisor while keeping the focus where it belongs: providing objective financial advice.
My approach is centered on comprehensive financial planning, not just investment management. As a CFP® professional and IRS Enrolled Agent, I integrate tax planning into every aspect of the financial planning process.
I help clients with:
• Creating tax-efficient retirement income strategies
• Evaluating Roth conversion opportunities
• Optimizing Social Security claiming decisions
• Navigating Medicare and IRMAA planning
• Coordinating estate planning decisions
• Building investment strategies designed around their goals, tax situation, and retirement needs
My goal is simple: help clients keep more of what they've built, avoid costly financial mistakes, and feel confident about their financial future.
I work best with individuals and couples who have accumulated significant savings and want guidance transitioning from building wealth to using it wisely. Many of my clients have spent decades saving and investing and now want a trusted advisor to help coordinate the many moving pieces of retirement planning.
As a solo practitioner, I intentionally limit the number of client relationships I take on so I can provide highly personalized advice. When you work with Overture, you work directly with me—not a team of advisors or a call center. Whether you are deciding when to retire, evaluating a Roth conversion, planning a major financial decision, or simply have a question, my goal is to be a trusted partner providing clear, objective guidance.
Outside of work, I live in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, with my wife and our two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, skiing, biking, and cheering on my favorite teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and hold the CFP® certification, CFA® designation, and IRS Enrolled Agent credential. I believe the best advisors are lifelong learners who continually expand their knowledge to better serve their clients.
