Flat Fee Advisors operates a searchable directory that connects consumers with independent flat fee financial advisors, along with educational content and the ability to contact advisors.
3. No advisory relationship
Flat Fee Advisors LLC is NOT a registered investment advisor and does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or planning services directly.
4. Advisor listings and endorsements
All listed advisors pay a membership fee, which creates a financial conflict of interest. Directory inclusion may constitute an endorsement under Investment Advisers Act Rule 206(4)-1. Any endorsement is limited to confirming that an advisor meets our pricing criteria and is in good standing. A listing does not guarantee an advisor's competence, performance, or suitability, and you should conduct your own independent due diligence.
5. Accuracy of information
Advisor-provided information is unverified. Educational content is for informational purposes only and may become outdated without regular updates.
6. User conduct
You may not use the site unlawfully, submit false information, scrape data, interfere with the site's operation, or harass advisors.
7. Intellectual property
All site content is protected intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use it for personal purposes only.
8. Third-party links
We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites linked from our site.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Flat Fee Advisors LLC for claims arising from your use of the site or your disputes with advisors.
11. Advisor membership terms
Advisors must be registered, charge flat fees, and pay a membership fee, which is non-refundable. Advisors may be removed for non-payment, regulatory issues, or violations of these terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
13. Modifications and termination
We reserve the right to modify these terms, change the site, or terminate access at any time without notice.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules, with venue in Hamilton County, Indiana. Jury trials are waived.
15. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flat Fee Advisors LLC, and we may assign our rights under them.
