For consumers

Q: What's so special about the financial advisor listed on this site?
A: Well, they all have their unique skills and talents, but the theme of this site is flat fee advisors. This means that the financial advisors on this directly offer a model that is based on a set fee, rather than a percentage of investments.
Q: What's so great about a flat fee model?
A: Great question! While there is no "perfect" fee model, we believe that flat fee has the least conflicts and is the most fair to consumers. We also believe that it offers more transparency and keeps costs under control.
Q: Can a flat fee financial advisor still manage my investments?
A: Yes! All the advisors in our directory can manage investments. And flat fees can be billed directly from investment accounts just like AUM fees.
